Radiant heating design for Collingwood & The Blue Mountains.

Warm floors under ski boots, a driveway that clears itself, and a heating system sized room by room before a single loop goes down. We design and install radiant and hydronic systems along the southern Georgian Bay shore, for homeowners, chalet owners and the builders who build for them.

What we do on the shore

Radiant heating on the Georgian Bay shore

From the design to the last balanced zone, for new builds, renovations and existing homes.

Radiant heating design

Room-by-room heat-loss calculations to the CSA F280-12 methodology, loop layouts, manifold schedules and water temperatures, for our own installs or as a design-only package for your builder or installer.

Whole-home radiant floors

New builds and major renovations, designed from the slab up, with every loop pressure-tested before and during the pour.

Snow-melt driveways & walkways

Glycol loops under concrete or pavers that clear snow and ice automatically. On the Georgian Bay snow belt, that matters.

Boilers & mechanical rooms

Condensing boilers sized from a real heat-loss calculation, never a guess, with outdoor reset and clean, serviceable piping.

Retrofits & basements

Existing homes too: loops can go into a thin overpour, under the subfloor between joists, or into an addition or finished basement.

Garage heat & extras

Garage and workshop heat, heated towel bars and hydronic baseboards, all run from the same warm-water system as your floors. How hydronic systems work

Built for the snow belt

Why radiant makes sense here

Collingwood and The Blue Mountains sit in the Georgian Bay snow belt, and a lot of the homes here are built around winter.

Lake-effect snow

The driveway, on the same system

Snow-melt loops can go in under a new driveway, walkway or front steps at the same time as the floor heat, sized together from one heat-loss calculation.

Tile, stone & boots

Warm where you feel it most

Entries, mudrooms and bathrooms are where cold floors hit hardest. Radiant heats the floor itself, so tile and stone stay warm underfoot all winter.

Chalets & weekend homes

Zoned for how you use it

Every loop runs back to the manifold, so each area can hold its own temperature on its own schedule: keep the place tempered while you’re away and bring the rooms you use up when you arrive.

How it works

From first visit to warm floors

  1. Step one

Your plans, or a site walk

We come out to Collingwood or The Blue Mountains to walk your home, or start from your drawings: a new build, an addition, a finished basement or a single bathroom.

  2. Step two

    Heat loss & design

A room-by-room heat-loss calculation to the CSA F280-12 methodology, then the loop layout, manifold schedule and water temperatures your space actually needs. How our designs work

  3. Step three

    Rough-in & testing

Insulation down, loops laid exactly to the design, and every loop pressure-tested before and during the pour.

  4. Step four

    Commissioned & documented

Every zone commissioned and balanced, the paperwork in your file, and a walkthrough of how it all works before we leave.

From our projects

What the work looks like before the floor goes down

PEX loops covering an entire basement floor over insulation
Whole floors, edge to edgeLoops laid over insulation across the full floor, designed first and then laid exactly to the plan.
Stainless manifold with individual PEX loop circuits
Every loop, its own circuitEach loop runs back to the manifold as its own circuit, so each area gets its own flow and its own control.

Local questions, answered

Radiant heating questions from the shore

Do you work in both Collingwood and The Blue Mountains?

Yes. We design and install across Collingwood, The Blue Mountains and the rest of the southern Georgian Bay shore, including Wasaga Beach.

Can a snow-melt driveway run off the same boiler as my floors?

Yes, when it’s designed that way from the start. The snow-melt loops use glycol and get their own zone, and the heat source is sized from the heat-loss calculation so one boiler handles the floors and the driveway without short-cycling.

My builder already has an HVAC designer. Can you still help?

Yes. We’ll build to your engineer’s or designer’s drawings and flag anything we’d question before rough-in, or take the radiant design scope ourselves and coordinate with your BCIN-registered designer for the permit set.

Can radiant go into an existing chalet or home?

Often, yes. Depending on the home, loops can go into a thin overpour, under the subfloor between joists, or into an addition or finished basement. A site visit tells us which route fits.
