Radiant heating design for Oro-Medonte & Springwater.
Custom homes, walkout basements, shops and garages on bigger lots, heated from the floor up and sized room by room. We’re based next door in Barrie, and we design and install radiant and hydronic systems across both townships.
What we do in the townships
Radiant heating in Oro-Medonte & Springwater
From Horseshoe Valley, Shanty Bay and Hawkestone to Midhurst, Elmvale and Minesing.
Radiant heating design
Room-by-room heat-loss calculations to the CSA F280-12 methodology, loop layouts, manifold schedules and water temperatures, for our own installs or as a design-only package for your builder or installer.
Whole-home radiant floors
New builds and major renovations, designed from the slab up, with every loop pressure-tested before and during the pour.
Shops & garages
Garage and workshop heat, on its own zone and its own schedule, designed alongside the house.
Boilers & mechanical rooms
Condensing boilers sized from a real heat-loss calculation, never a guess, with outdoor reset and clean, serviceable piping.
Snow-melt driveways & walkways
Glycol loops under concrete or pavers that clear snow and ice automatically.
Towel warmers & extras
Heated towel bars and hydronic baseboards, all run from the same warm-water system as your floors. How hydronic systems work
Built for the townships
What radiant looks like out here
More room to build means more to heat: bigger slabs, bigger shops and often a heat source to choose.
Designed from the slab up
Most radiant goes in during construction. Bring us in at the drawing stage and the heat-loss calculation, loop layout and manifold schedule go into your designer’s permit set, and the loops are pressure-tested before and during the pour.
Heat the shop, not just the house
Garage and workshop heat can be designed into the same warm-water system as the house, on its own zone. Where a building sits further out, the design decides whether it runs off the house system or its own heat source.
Choose the heat source in the design
Hydronic radiant doesn’t care what heats the water. The heat source is chosen and sized in the design, and radiant’s low water temperatures suit condensing boilers and air-to-water heat pumps alike.
How it works
From first visit to warm floors
-
Step one
Your plans, or a site walk
We come out to Oro-Medonte or Springwater to walk your home, or start from your drawings: a new build, an addition, a finished basement or a single bathroom.
-
Step two
Heat loss & design
A room-by-room heat-loss calculation to the CSA F280-12 methodology, then the loop layout, manifold schedule and water temperatures your space actually needs. How our designs work
-
Step three
Rough-in & testing
Insulation down, loops laid exactly to the design, and every loop pressure-tested before and during the pour.
-
Step four
Commissioned & documented
Every zone commissioned and balanced, the paperwork in your file, and a walkthrough of how it all works before we leave.

Local questions, answered
Radiant heating questions from the townships
Which communities do you cover?
All of Oro-Medonte and Springwater, including Horseshoe Valley, Shanty Bay, Hawkestone, Midhurst, Elmvale and Minesing. We’re based in Barrie, right next door.
Can you design radiant for a new build we’re drawing now?
Yes, and that’s the best time. We produce the heat-loss report, loop layout, manifold schedule and water temperature schedule, and coordinate with your BCIN-registered designer so the permit set goes together without back-and-forth. More on our designs.
Can a detached garage or shop be heated with radiant?
Yes. Radiant in a shop or garage slab heats the floor itself, right where you work. Depending on distance and layout, the design decides whether it runs off the house system on its own zone or gets its own heat source.
Will radiant work with a heat pump?
Yes. Radiant’s low water temperatures are exactly what air-to-water heat pumps produce most efficiently, which makes radiant floors one of the most future-proof heat distribution systems you can put in a home.
